Safari Court Hotel
(252 rooms) Aviation Rd, PO Box 3900, Windhoek; tel: 061 240240; fax: 061 235652; email: firstname.lastname@example.org; web: www.safarihotel.com.na
This international-standard hotel has grown up alongside the older Hotel Safari over the past few years (see below). Although it still shares the Safari's entrance from the road, and guests may take advantage of the expansive pool, the Safari Court is altogether more exclusive than its lowlier sibling, with its own vaulted reception area, and a separate restaurant and bar.
The Safari Court's modern, elegant rooms are of a high standard, with en-suite toilets, baths and superb, powerful showers. They also have tea/coffee-making facilities, a fridge with minibar, direct-dial phones, TVs with Mnet and a large lockable section to the wardrobes. If you're arriving in the morning, perhaps from nearby Eros Airport, then an early check-in is normally possible here.
The elegant Acacia restaurant is open for dinner only, serving an international cuisine including Namibian oysters, ostrich steak and seafood.
