One of the Caprivi's community-run campsites, Kubunyana is reached by turning south from the Golden Highway at the Kongola filling station. After 6km the camp is signposted to the right, and you'll reach it a further 4km along that track.

Kubunyana has three large pre-erected tents under thatched shade covers, with basic beds but no linen, and four private camping pitches. There's also a communal kitchen, and ablution block with flush toilets and hot showers. There's no food available, and you need to bring your own drinking water.
