Clearly visible as you're entering Windhoek on Nelson Mandela Av, Roof of Africa has its main entrance in Gusinde St. This friendly and efficiently run establishment seems to cater for most requirements. Simple and clean double rooms range from those with shared bathrooms to deluxe rooms with AC; all have TV and telephones. Other facilities include a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, internet (expensive at N$25 per half-hour), secure lockers and off-street parking. Terri and Torsten have plans to build a new swimming pool and sauna, while at present guests can relax under the cool thatched bar area. There is a small camping area for 5 tents.
