Set back above the main airport road, just 21km from the airport (a little closer than Airport Lodge), this is more than just a caravan park, with large, simply furnished, en-suite rooms, some with AC, catering mainly for the German market.

The main building features a rustic bar and restaurant with lounge area and a good range of crafts for sale – ideal for last-minute souvenirs – and the restaurant serves Namibian-German cuisine, with the emphasis on game. Some may be put off by the owner's dogs, which include a Doberman, or by the lack of television; others will appreciate the privacy. Airport transfers are N$110.

Pitches at the campsite have electricity, water and a grill area, and a toilet block with hot- water showers.
