Follow the airport road for about 28km, then turn right towards Dordabis. Hohewarte is 15km down this road, to the left.

Once a German colonial police station, Hohewarte farm now stands in an area of some 10,000 hectares, at the foot of the 2,299m Bismarck Mountain.
